thanks so much. i know how these things can be extremely covered. i will do a search. if you would enlighten me a little, i do have a mighty vac and can test for leak down. where are vacuum lines? i've only seen the ones coming from the pump to the power steering and power brakes. don't know about any sort of engine shut off thing.
