If you have the standard Sportline front bar (27.5mm), you would want the standard Sportline rear bar (16.5mm) to match it.

The 500E rear bar (18.0mm) works well with the "limo" front bar (28.5mm). Otherwise you'll end up with the rear end stiffer than the front, which could result in a tad more oversteer than you'd like.

BTW - the factory Sportline kit on the wagons (sold in Europe only, not offered in USA) was 28.5mm front, 16.5mm rear.

On a side note, I have a matching set of front & rear Sportline bars available for sale... they fit all 6-cyl 124's, and are 27.5mm front, 16.5mm rear. Bushings included. Drop me an email if interested... will be posted in the classifieds eventually. Looking for $275 + S&H for everything.
