if you have to use more than 5 filters, you need to get them to come out and install a main filter, then you wont have to worry about the line.

If it is constantly dropping, either they have a keep alive setup that keeps it alive for a certain time then drops it, or, they have some noise or somthing int he line causing ti to lose its sync.

I have to reboot my DSL like maybe once a month if that. It is always on, and never needs to be reset unless a fluke happens.
