Well I read about 20 threads on synthetics.
Going with Mobile 1. Its easy to get around here and I am not a fan of Amsoil. So lets get that out of the way!
But what the threads did not go into detail on was oil weights, just about switching to synth. And most were in the Diesel section anyway. So on my 91 560 SEL, what would you recommend for a year-round oil? Temp here get near 100 in summer for a brief time and drop to below 0 also. 10W-40 is what the guide recommends, but I am curious as to what others are actually using for a synthetic.
