I really don't understand how the district in which a particular congressman serves makes any difference. Unethical and criminal behavior is unethical and criminal behavior REGARDLESS of surroundings.

A crook is a crook. I don't care about their skin color, their neighborhood, or their political party.

One of the most troubling problems in the US today IMHO is defiance of the law. 13 Million people come to the country illegally, no problem. Somebody cheats the government out of over $30,000 in income tax, make them the Treasury Secretary. Find them guilty of 11 infractions of congressional rules, give them a censure and leave them in their congressional seat.

The country has gone to hell in a hand basket with no respect for the law and no one seems to care.

Common sense and common decency is a thing of the past.
