1. I think you might need another special tool to clamp the boot securely on to the assembly.
2. It’s called “Clamp Pliers”; it’s made by Hazet, part number 1847-1. Take a look at this page:

3. If not let me know what you use in its place, because I need to do my rear axle it’s the same concept.
4. Oh last note it’s sometimes easier to get that nut out with and impact gun don’t know why I’m not a physics major, I use a breaker bar at first but had access to the air wrench so I try that just for fun and it came right off.
