Well, surprise, surprise. You are right Bill, it is a California car, I just saw the emission sticker under the hood. Ok, so I started looking for the trap oxidizer on top of the turbo, there is nothing, the turbo is in full view. I can't even tell where the thing was mounted. I wonder if there is a picture out there where I can verify. Anyway, any other differences I should pay attention to, so far, I've been ordering parts for a federal 300d, and have ran into no problems, until I saw the picture of the air filter. As I mentioned earlier, mine is round and about 6" deep. Thanks again for the quick replies
