What you can do is figure out the "dimished value" of the car after the repair and make the insurance company pays you for the loss value becuase of the damage to the car. This will require some legwork on your part or perhaps it would be worth it to consult with a lawyer for this.

There are alot of threads going around in regards to this topic. If you do a search I'm sure you will find more information. In fact, there is a very similar incident (either on this board or on benzsport.com) in which a member just purchase a low milage used AMG and then got re-ended on the freeway.
