When i bought the 85 back in 97, it didn`t have any power. the Indy shop I took it to, contacted the dealer. they ran a check on the Vin #, and the trap was due for replacement under the emissions system warranty. the thing was to be changed every 30K miles, and it had 50K on it. MB paid for the work.

I don`t know if there was a recall or not for the 85.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
