I know, not really a performance mod but I'm much more at home in this sub-forum than paint and body. My H/L wipers haven't worked for a bit and the under H/L trim was getting in very poor shape, pitted and rusted. I had a spare set of under H/L trim that I filled in with fiberglass and then painted and lacquered. So I pulled out my H/L assemblies and replaced them with my spares in somewhat better shape. Deleted the wiper mechanisms and installed the new trim without wiper openings. Here's a couple of pics:
