So the VDO odometer in the cabrio finally did that thing VDO's usually do.. fail.

I have been searching the forums for a good, comprehensive w124 odometer repair and nothing has shown.

Plus I am not sure if the late w124 odometer is cable driven or done by a sine wave converter and what ever electronic stuff the newer cars have.

help?
