More like "Darwinism" than anything else. Strapping an explosive device to your body does tend to accelerate that "Darwinism" curve upwards a bit sooner than normal.

As for the parking ramp/driveshaft guy?
That's probably more "Redneckism" with a bit "Alcoholism" thrown in as the accelerant.

(Sorry for the "gallows humor" this morning...a friend passed away this morning from Parkinson's disease. He didn't get much more than a year to enjoy his retirement when he was diagnosed with it.)
