Perhaps I should clarify just a bit. {not to think my situation matters, but I did start the thread}

I'm just doing this right now because it is the best thing to do at this time. I am not doing this because I don't still dig these cars. Quite the opposite. For various reasons I just need to not worry about vehicular situations. The little family company I work for right now needs all hands on deck from all of us to make this work. Coming off my oldest daughter's wedding and two surgeries for my wife, and braces for my youngest I don't have the funds required to keep three cars ship shape. Lack of time is even more of a reason.
"You have to give to get", you have to have something somebody wants, and you need some good fortune. It takes all 3 of my diesels in order for me to get something nice. Tyler wants the Batmobile. And Tyler has the knowledge, resources and time right now to pull it off. Plus he is nice enough to help. {Did I mention he wanted the '95?}

So, thanks for so many kinds words. Thanks for the various counterpoints. Most had merit or were driven by passion for these cars. Oh, and there was one Jackwagon!

{not you Joe. I've come around on you}

Sheesh, all this just to say that I'm not leaving the forum. This is my interest. I love these cars. I'm so very rapped up into my buddies here. Good friends on here! Some I will never meet in person, some I see from time to time. But this is the one place I most enjoy hanging out. The place I am most interested in the subject matter. The place that
needs my ever present vigilance against rogue-ness!!

I'm so pleased to find that it is so top of mind!

I hope I can attend GTG's even though I'll be driving a rice burner.

Maybe I will finally pull my '67 Camaro out of moth balls. I'm sure my sainted mother would love to have it out of her garage.
