Some folks say "love it or leave it". That is simply easier said than done. I don't love it and I don't hate it, yet. No other country will just let you willy nilly move there. You need to jump through lots of hoops. I envy the EU citizens because they can live/work anywhere in the EU they please. I wish the "E" in EU stood for Earth and not European. I would like to willy nilly live and work anywhere on the planet I pleased.

Its easy to work/live anywhere in the world, you just need the right skill set and intelligence. My friend travels to Europe and probably the Middle East soon to fix helicopters. Where the birds are broke he goes.
Most decent sized company's have operations in several countries, usually there are not shortage of overseas positions that need to be filled. Eastern Europe is very popular now for manufacturing. Lots of ex Soviet factories with skilled metal workers with not much to do.
This thread sounds like whining.
