Changed oil and oil pan today. Noticed that the oil pickup was broken. The snorkel part was broken and pushed up into the intake. It was just flopping around. Clearly a pan impact caused it.

I tried to unscrew it but it did not come off. Seems as if it may have once been a softer rubber that just slipped on.

What is the name for this item? I want to add it to my summer project list.
