Name change is done. I have a conversion card that states me as 'Zahwan Azeem', The card gives me access to Mecca if I choose to go there, as well.
In particular, I am referring to 'the right connections' in terms of people I know, that are connected with people in Indonesia, mostly Government officials. Who can 'smooth the way'
When I travel to Indonesia, I have a card with me that names the 'go-to-guy' in that area, in the event I am hassled-for any reason- I produce the card-which tells the hasseler to either call the Number cited, or cease to prevent my passage there. (It has come in handy on several occasions).
Not that you are planning a trip to Indonesia..but if you were, I would certainly be someone you would want to touch bases with prior to your departure.
