I'm not so sure about that. Never heard that one yet. The issue that was raised has been one of privacy because they took a front shot of the license plate AND the driver AND possibly the passenger. So, when they mail the pic to my house and my wife opens the envelope, she might see the pic of my car, me and the naked girl in the passenger seat and that might cause an issue or so the excuse went. I haven't heard that they have to get BOTH shots. What I heard was 1 front with the driver and the license plate. Can anyone confirm?

In WI and several states, BY LAW, you have to drive with BOTH your plates on. The back plate has to have a month sticker on the left and a year sticker on the right. If you don't have the front, they can pull you over. At which time, they can issue you a "fix it" ticket. This means you go home and put it on, bring it to the cop shop. After the "show and tell" session, a cop signs off on it. Just did that yesterday.
