If you are talking about the tax bill being put off... I think it is one of the smartest things the Dems have done lately.

Right now the Republs want all the Bush tax cuts to last for infinity. Please note that they always and only mention the Bush tax cuts. If the tax cuts Obama put into place expire then taxes will go up on everyone who is middle class and below. The Republicans would raise those taxes to where they were two years ago.

The Republicans would also not continue the unemployment for the next 13 months, but they would do away with the Estate Tax with will cost the US $65,000,000,000 a year.

I say that if the Republicans want to do these things then let them. If the poor scream then let them eat cake!

The last thing the Republicans want is for this bill to go into the next session where they will have to deal with it which is why they say they will consider nothing until the tax bill is finished.

The Military spending bill is another one they don't want to touch but they want to control. Therefore... Let them.

The Republicans claimed to want another chance with the voters since they did such a terrible job in the past. Now they have their next chance and they are terrified they will have to take the heat for their actions.

The only bright spot for the Republs is that they know their voters really will not hold them to any sort of standard and will vote as they are told next time, but what about the independent voters that they currently need?

With the Republican goal of getting rid of Obama in 2012 being, as Mitch McConnell said, the most important thing to them over the next two years then they are not going to have much time to run the country. But they asked for the job and have been screaming that they can solve all of our problems if the voters would just, as Eric Cantor said, give them one more chance.

OK, boys, you've got your chance. Now let's see some results.
