Many people just can't stand that people who are smarter, more talented, and more capable than they are able to accumulate wealth that they never have been, can't now, and never will be able to accumulate.

The hatred is driven by envy, the reality is that even if all wealth where distributed evenly within a short time gross disparities of wealth would re-appear. All people are alleged to be created equal but not all can equally seize opportunity and advantage in their own interest.
