I replaced the master cylinder, all rubber brake hoses, new brake fluid, and the drive shaft center support, restored vacuum to the tranny. The car shifts much better, however the tranny needs a new tranny mount. The brakes are much better, but if I really get on them, they will lock. But they stop much faster than before.
Next step: tranny mount, then I think it will shift great, and ride great. THanks for your help.
