Sold the Veggie Burban (a sad day)
Well, I sold the old 90 Suburban finally. It's had a cylinder head gasket\crack problem for a long time, though I've kept driving it locally and refilling the couple of quarts of water compression would blow out of the overflow. The plates are up the end of December, and I've needed a pick up for a long time, since the one my father in law passed on to us, as my wife put it, "Mine, not yours". Anyway, I've been driving the MB lately, and decided I needed to get the Burb off the Curb, so I gave it away for $700. The day I sold it, as sad as that was, my wife, who is 47, (I'm 52) texted me after her last final of the semester at the local community junior college, that she wasn't coming back. This is even more sad, since the 15th would be our 31st wedding anniversary. She has all kinds of reasons, none of them being men, and she says none of it relates to her going through menopause right now. (Right) So I'm setting here biding my time, hoping and praying that she will come out of this. Meanwhile, the Veggie Burban is no more, I'm sad and blue and mostly broke since my work comp case has drug out for almost 23 months, and this 5 bedroom house seems to be growing exponentially by the minute. And, the last bit of sad news is that I'm going to now be forced into selling the (her) 300D, which she now says is 'my' 300D. I need a truck to start moving all this stuff out of the money pit. This just hasn't been my week, fellas. If any of you diesel heads are praying folk, put me on your list. please.
