Actually I want the breather hose routed through inside of the air cleaner. I want the ram air pressure from the intake going into the breather inlet in the lid. If you don't it can vent out the breather inlet.

On the 85 cali the air flows from the breather inlet in the cleaner housing and flows across the tee from the crank case vent tube and into the exit tube that goes near the inlet of the turbo. It helps increase the vacuum in the crank case similar to a Venturi Siphon.
