If it wasnt so annoying to do it, Id say absolutely... It would make the engine easier to turn for the valve adjustment too.
Problem is it is nearly impossible to get the GPs disconnected and removed without pulling the injector spider, which means repriming and difficulty to start, etc., etc.
Or am I blowing it out of proportion?
