I would confirm it with them. At first, they told me that I wasn't covered unless I spent $100 at the service place. Told them that I bought it from a dealership and they said they would check into it. Called me back the next day and confirmed it.
Being the trusting soul that I am, I called them 2 days later and they confirmed I was.
