Fred, that is correct. The 300E with the passenger airbag also had more options than the other one did. Example--A rear window shade that was operated by a switch on the dash. It was really cool how the mechanism worked that made the shade go up and down. I really liked that car better but it was in the worst shape of the two--one had to go--oh well.
