I get the impression that these old Volvos are not as well built as the cars from the 1980s - saying that any car of that age needs to be assessed on the basis of condition. I think you'll find them to be quite heavy on fuel considering the performance you can get. I'm of the opinion that they are as stylish as brown corduroy, but hey each to his own if you like it and can get it for an agreeable price - good luck to you.

As for Volvo drivers:- Well I avoid 'em much like everyone else here in Europe but the funny thing is when you yourself get behind the wheel of one you are quickly transformed into a carefree oblivious idiot - it must be something they treat the upholstery with...
