Someone stole the actual glass inserts for the side mirrors but not the actual side view mirror assembly?
That is odd... 
Whenever I hear about this crap happening, it is usually because the thieves stole the entire assemblies for the purpose of bolting them to their Civic.
Try Potomac German, and try Google searching for salvage yards that may have wrecked MLs that they can pull parts from.
