I have met a number of people over they years that bought into this theory. I first heard that the world was 6000 years old about 40 years ago.

Nothing will shake these folks from what they view as the truth, and they try to put everything into a time and place that they can give some sort of order to.

When discussing this matter with them they tend to look at one another with knowing glances that say 'I know something you don't' and then they try and tell you the truth as they see it.

It really upsets them if you tell them the old military saying 'Those that know don't tell and those that tell don't know'.

But... It sounds like a good excuse for a party!
