i had my 73 220d sitting in the driveway, noticed that the left front seemed low. i put it on the jack then it was level, it needed about a 1 inch lift to make it level. before i buy parts, this is proabaly the spring, and not the absorber.... right?

and on a side note, i also need a tie rod, i dont know the difference between inner and outer, this is the one off the steering nuckle on the weel assembly, to the box. is this the outer tie rod?
