Controversies
In 2009, the company was sued for allegedly deceiving policyholders by employing illegally-operated, unlicensed body shops to make repairs on vehicles for their clients in order to save money. The class action lawsuit of Blue Ash Auto Body Inc. v. Progressive Insurance is pending in Ohio.[14]
In 2007, the company apologized after it was revealed they hired private investigators to infiltrate a church group and pose as congregation members to collect information on litigants seeking redress from the company. Another lawsuit was filed by the litigants over the affair against the company for invasion of privacy and fraud.[15]
In 2002, the company settled with the State of Georgia in a class action lawsuit over diminished value claims brought by policyholders.
I was in an accident in the '80s (With Progressive as Carrier) they attempted
to deny UM Medical coverage (A Paltry amount of Coverage, $10K).
An Enlightened Juris Doctor in Atlanta had some associate in his firm send Progressive a
"Bend Over,Blindfolded,and give us your Bank Account Routing Codes" letter.
'Overnight, We both got checks for $10K, EACH.

Call the ***holes ONE more time and ask to speak to either one of the Two
Un-Indicted Criminal Co-Conspirators pictured below.Explain to them that
either they stop screwing you around OR you're gonna file against the other
driver(Who is also their Insured).
They will be forced to defend the other driver.
Now "Telling" them you're gonna SUE is just so much HOT AIR to these B*st*rds
(This is "Cost of Doing Business Issue" to them)
