I understand the MkII version is coming out in April which is too late for Vday. I was hoping for a better price. The best price for the bare bones version is $500.

I am looking at the specs for the various types of iPads and I can't figure out what they mean. She will be basically be using it for email and movies during vacations. I figure the bare bones version will do. Is that right?
