I don't know the merits of this Immelt hire. It does seem as if GE might benefit. The part I don't get is the title of this thread. When was Obama ever anti-business? Or liberal, for that matter? People keep saying that he moved to the right. I don't see it at all. He held some left-wing positions way back when, but he long ago became a pragmatic center/left guy, IMHO.
