HERE'S AN EXAMPLE: .AIR AMERICA .The show changed all right...it got yanked off the air...or...excuse me...it FOLDED DUE TO LACK OF SPONSORSHIP. (Better phrasing for the faint of heart.)

That, maybe, proves that some shows have to pay to stay on the air. Shows do buy airtime. Why do you think you see so many "Tony Robbins" or "Wonder-Whatever" infomercials on some TV stations? Those folks PAY the TV stations a set-dollar figure and it is, many times, used as "filler" for time that couldn't be sold for a higher dollar amount.

See above. And, if that's the case, someone wants others to see/hear the message.

Legit question. But then, again, who cares? It's on the air and we all know that air-time IS NOT FREE... Here's a question back at ya'...Who's funding AIR AMERICA? OH! WAIT! No one wanted to fund it! That's right...NO ONE WANTED TO WASTE THEIR MONEY ON A LEFT-LEANING/ENSCONSED TALK/SCREAMING-SHOW. It couldn't even qualify for funding from the The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

How's that for ironic?

I suppose you have to be a particular kind of "Left" before a lefty will throw someone else's money at you (Thank goodness there's some ironic sense in that line of thinking!).

I guess that's why Capitalism works the way it does.

Communism doesn't fit too well into that type of business plan.

They want you to run their stuff for free and have someone else pay for it.

Capitalism - 1
Communism - 0
