By the way:

my daughter is a sophomore at UF. Was just up in Gainesville, and have been there 4 times over the last 1.5 yrs. Seems to be every 6 months or so. The cafes downtown are great.

I live in Pembroke Pines and have office in Aventura, so the ride to gainesville is about 5.5 hrs with stops. It's a good ride for the car, though, as it kind of exercises everything.
