Overall, I think he quite well. Also, facing reality that some of his cherished projects would need their funding trimmed. I think his mention of balancing what corperations pay in taxes is long over due.

The video shows a little bit of laughter but it actually grew into an applause.
It did seem that the overall tone of the speech centered around the acknowledgment of government BS which needs to be changed.
