I dumped AT&T about 7 months ago and
switched to Ooma (VoIP).
It works great. The cost is approx $3.50/month unless you want the premium features. Premium features are an extra $10/month.
Cellphone isn't an option for me because my home office is in the basement and there's no cell service there.
