When they come out with synthetic gasoline, cats won't be a problem. Synthetic aviation fuel is a reality.

Now, if the powers that be can see the advantage to synthetic gasoline, we'll all be a lot better off. But, they've got an investment in multi-million dollar refineries, etc etc. to worry about. Isn't it funny how one little invention can instantly turn the world on it's head?
