I take it the manual boost controller reduces the amount of boost the waste gate "sees" so it does not bleed off exhaust gasses thus sustaining turbine speed.
Now that is a nice bit of feedback.
I gather it's necessary to "up" fuel if you are going to "up" air via more boost.
