Hey there!

I'm curious: "Injector number 6 leading to the distributor seems to be bad". By this do you mean that the injector line from the distributor to injector is clogged, or the number 6 fuel injector is bad? if this is the case, then you have a constant dead cylinder, which is very easy to diagnose on these engines. With the engine running, simply take off one spark plug wire at a time (and put it back) and see which one DOESN'T make a difference. this will give you the dead cylinder. If that dead cylinder has spark, it obviously is not getting fuel, which on the m103 is almost always a bad fuel injector. easy to replace, and much less expensive than the fuel distributor. Also, when you do the seafoam, use at least an entire can. I use it at every fill up and it works fantastic. As far as the fuel distributor goes, it doesn't really sound like there's anything wrong with yours, more like the injector/clogged line problem. And even though plenty of people on this forum take off their fuel distributors, it's not something I would attempt to do myself. There are a lot of fine tuning adjustments that you can get wrong if you don't know what you're doing BESIDES the remove/install.

Hope this helps, good luck and keep us posted
