My friend got out of it by getting a letter from his employer saying he had to transport patients with sensitive eyes.

Now I guess since their is a "medical" reason from a Doctor he can do as dark as he wants.
Total BS but that's the benefit for working for a huge hospital and having a boss who is cool.
