I am experiencing simular problems with my 300E. At first it took two attempts to start and always fired up on the second. Now it has gotten worse, to the tune of cranking for a extended period pumping the gas to get it to go. If the car is only off for a few moments it starts perfectly. I was leaning towards the fuel check valve but would like your opionion.
