My 2 go crazy if there is a snake in the yard. They dont try and attack it, just bark until I get there with the shovel. Nothing like a good head ache for the snake. It then gets put out under a tree while its still moving so the kookaburras can get it. Snakes are their preferred diet. They swoop down and grab them normally by the tail & then fly past branches so the snake gets a broken neck as its head hits them.
