My 1978 280CE has the symptoms of a blown head gasket, hopefully not a cracked head. I am attempting to remove it and it will not release. I have the manuals etc. Yes the M8 bolts that people miss have been removed along with any other hinderances. The manual indicates that I can leave the exhaust and intake manifolds on. Hopefully you all can shed some light on this.
