I have often thought about taking off that side trim. that looks pretty good. Not so sure about the tutone paint job.

I notice the clock has the silver button in the center and the spedo has the black. but it does have the 100mph spedo. and I think that year does have it.

The rear seats and the drivers, need the padding strips (for tucknroll) pulled back into position and hot glued in place. Not all that hard to do. I just did our rear seat, looks like new.

That one picture showing the passenger side floor carpet. what is that in the corner on the right side? some of that expanding foam?

Iam also thinking he might still have the 3:69 diff from the 240D. I get 28mpg + on the highway with our 240. I would think, one more cylinder, and screaming along with that low gear, will drop the milage.

I can get 29 to 31+ on the highway in our 300D 4-spd with the 2:88 diff.

So Euro spec is changing out the headlights, and a 4 spd?

it might be a pretty car. they say pictures don`t lie, they show everything if You are in front of the camera. but pictures of a car can be decieving.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
