I then decided to go to my office, 1 mile from home, to check the mail.

The 450 SLC could use some exercise. I'll go by the office and take a little jaunt down the parkway to Mount Vernon. Then home.

Get the mail. Walk out of the inner office, lock the door. LOCK THE DOOR. Where are the keys?

Walk home 16 blocks. Nice morning for a walk.
Home. Need a key to get in. Ah, there is one in the back yard Gate is locked. Jump over gate, let myself in the back door. Call a cab.
