I recently came across this car and I am currently trying to get a price nailed down.

The car has 325,000 miles with excellent maintenance. Tranny was replaced at about 280K. books to original owner. Driven daily. It is in extreemely nice condition.

The car has a small leak from the rear main seal, this is what an independent mechanic has told me. I have called around and a couple shops will not touch it. The one very reputable shop in the area will handle the rear main seal to the tune of $1400.00 just for labor. He recommended getting a couple other things done while the engine was out and I was paying to get the seal replaced.

The other option was the option of getting a lower mileage engine and installing it. How much do you think this will cost?

How much do you think I should offer for the car. It looks super clean and everything works, everything.
