I've got some favors I can call in at my local MBZ recycler and can get a used compressor for $75 with a 6 mo. warranty. Since I would still have to pull the compressor to try the epoxy fix, it would seem that I might as well just install the used compressor.

Just in case I find that I can get the epoxy on the crack without having to pull it, what kind of epoxy did you use?

Where was your crack located and how long was it?

How long has the epoxy fix worked?
