THanks for the reply. The temp seems to rise while driving, although mostly I am in stop & go city traffic, which might aggravate the problem. I guess it could be the water pump, although I believe the mechanic checked that too. Should I switch to a coolant mixture instead of 100 percent water which is what has been in the car for at least the last several years?
