different brace, the chrome one is definitely aftermarket, the brace that makes it a 428 is between the shock tower and the engine. It is about a 1/4 thick plate bent to match the contour of the tower, it was mentioned when he was talking about taking out the plugs. It may add strength, but it definitely makes the plugs a challenge. I have to unhook the motor mounts and raise my engine to service the plugs. there are special sockets you can get but I tried them and they are a little tough on the ceramic tops of the plugs. another trick I learned to get them in and out once loose is to put a rubber hose on the plug and it acts like a universal
