I had a "hyper" R-turn signal...bulb looked fine, had to work on the socket for a bit to get it to "connect" with the bulb again...problem fixed.
Contact cleaner and a decent pencil eraser...nothing too abrasive...
Then, after the "scrubbing" - I found some old socket grease (GM product) I had and "Q-Tipped" a light coating inside the socket and around the base of the bulb...then I cleaned up the other side to be sure I wasn't having to do this during the winter/cold.
They're working like day one...fresh off the assembly line.
